The term "kalatusha" in Polissya refers to a dish that combines seemingly incompatible ingredients. For example, mushrooms and fish.

Ingredients

  • carp — 1 fish;
  • dried white mushrooms — 40 grams;
  • 2 carrots;
  • 1 celery;
  • Roasted vegetables (beets, carrots, onions, tomatoes) — 50 grams;
  • sunflower oil — 2 tablespoons;
  • flour — 70 grams;
  • butter — 50 grams;
  • salt, pepper, dill, parsley, bay leaf, allspice — to taste.

The cooking process

  1. Cut carrots and celery into large pieces. Place the vegetables on a baking sheet, salt and grease with sunflower oil. Bake them in the oven for 30 minutes at 180 ° C.
  2. Make a roast of your favorite vegetables. You can use onions, beets, tomatoes.
  3. Let's move on to the preparation of fish and mushroom broth. Drain the carp and rinse it thoroughly under the tap water. Cut it into large pieces and place in a saucepan. Add bay leaf, allspice and white dried mushrooms.
  4. Mix flour with butter. The mixture should resemble a cookie dough.
  5. Strain the broth through a fine sieve. Put the liquid on the stove again and add the creamy flour dough to thicken the broth. Add the roast.
  6. Put carrot and celery puree in a plate and pour the broth. Bon appetit!
